Join us at Gen Con 2025 in Indianapolis July 31 - August 3 as we host our popular Make a Steel Chainmail Dice Bag workshops!

Make a Steel Chainmail Dice Bag

It's dangerous out there! Protect your dice with STEEL!

In our workshop, you'll learn about how to make chainmail, learn how to form and cut rings from steel wire, and assemble your own dice bag! Participants will leave the session with their hand made dice bag (or all the necessary materials to finish the dice bag) as well as knowledge and instructions for how to complete a similar project at home.

Our workshop is interactive and fun for most ages, but please be sure you have enough finger strength to grip pliers and bend steel wire. Some younger attendees may need supervision and assistance from a more seasoned adventurer.

All the materials for this event will be provided for you, but you may choose to bring with you two pairs of needle nose or flat nose pliers just in case you don't finish the bag during the scheduled time.

Can I buy a chainmail dice bag?

We do not currently have chainmail dice bags in inventory. If you'd like to commission a custom order, please contact info@timberandtokengaming.com.

 

Can you run a private event?

Yes! We may not be able to accommodate your private event during Gen Con, but we can work with you to schedule a private workshop. Please contact us at info@timberandtokengaming.com.

 

Can I buy an Icosahedral Globe at Gen Con?

Gen Con has strict policies prohibiting the sale of products outside the dealer hall. Please feel free to shop our online store!

 

How fast do the workshops fill up? Are you just saying that?

Fast. In the past three years we've run these events, they have been completely sold out in the first couple hours of event registration.
